We were commissioned to make a 4.8m long dining table for a stately home in Hampshire. Our client wanted to bring the rawness of natural materials into an otherwise polished design scheme. With the Wyck Table, we combined live edge oak with the intricacy of detailed inlay work. The incised carving on the blackened central beam is inspired by the markings on birch bark, bringing a sense of nature and pattern into the room.
