PLANE Carving Board

The PLANE Carving Board is handmade from sustainable English Ash or Oak with brass spikes, juice channels and includes a small serving board which shields the spikes when the board is not in use. It is precisely hand shaped by one of the Temper team in our workshop in rural Wiltshire and finished with natural oils and waxes. The geometric faceted surfaces bring contemporary minimalism to your traditional Sunday Roasts.

PLANE + Choppy Side Table
The PLANE + Choppy Side Table is a meeting of two of our favourite things; the precise yet irregular geometric shaping of timber and our Choppy Waters finish, developed in collaboration with Midgley Green for the Choppy Waters serving boards. The black-dyed and rubbed back sculptural surface was inspired by descriptions from a friend as she raced a clipper across the the wild, dark pacific ocean. The construction is a restrained, clean design in stunningly pale English Sycamore with solid brass support.
