A very special jewellery box commissioned by a father for his daughter’s 16th birthday. The timber exterior is made from sycamore which, when polished, becomes almost iridescent like a jewel itself. While the simplicity of the material has a hidden opulence, its faceted edges give it a contemporary finish. The jewellery box is lined with rich, mustard-yellow velvet and a matching envelope for hidden love letters, while the draws are made from walnut and cedar of Lebanon for scent.
