About the collection
The Cloister Table is a dance between the rawness of its materials and the elegant poise of its design and intricate detailing. It was a response to a commission for a stately home in Hampshire. We combined the turbulent nature of cedar of Lebanon with highly detailed inlay work in walnut, oak, ash and bronze. The surface is held in quiet tension around a central beam of ebonised and incised sycamore.
